On Sunday a group of us went up to Larsbreen to see if we could find the moraine (glacial deposit) caves. The entrance is hidden beneath the snow, and nobody knew exactly where the entrance was supposed to be, so we ended up digging quite some holes in the snow, but not finding anything. But that was okey, it was just nice to get out for a couple of hours. I'm very happy to see that there are plenty of things to do here even if it's almost completely dark outside all day long. I was a bit sceptical in the beginning to what outdoor activities the lack of daylight would permit, but the more experienced students here seem to be very good at taking us newbies out and showing us that there are heaps of things to do! :)
